For over 7 decades this was the mission of the Theatre staff that breathed a life into the puppets. Since its foundation on June 1st 1935 the Yerevan Tumanyan State Puppet Theatre has carried out significant activities in professional, technical and managerial spheres. It has been exposed to and has struggled numerous difficulties. The creative team, deeply caring about the destiny of the Theatre, has considerably contributed to its development and prosperity, to producing of high professional puppet performances possessing vivid national features. The Theatre has been awarded numerous premiums and prizes. It has been highly acclaimed by prominent puppet art professionals.
