Saint Sargis Church
Description
The foundation of the Saint Sargis Church was laid in 1998. in the new district of the capital. It was built in N.S.O.T.T. On the initiative of Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and under the patronage of New Yorker Sarkis Gabrielyan.
The church was opened in 2000. On February 19, the consecration ceremony took place on April 30. The painting of the Virgin Mary on the table is a work of the great artist Grigor Khanjyan.
The three-storey church is built in the style of traditional Armenian architecture. The height of the main dome of the church is 23 meters.
