Saint John the Baptist Church

Saint John the Baptist Church is an active church in the old area of Kond, in Armenia. It was first constructed in 1710 on top of the Kond district, replacing a medieval church that had been destroyed by an earthquake.

The church is a three-nave basilica. The prayer hall and main altar, which have sacristies attached, are located on the eastern side of the church’s rectangular floor plan.
