Hekimyan Music School

Hekimyan Music School was founded in 1982. At first, it functioned as music school No.13. In 1986, it was named after the songwriter, Major-General of the USSR Internal Service Aleksey Hekimyan. In that year, there were only a few departments in the school: piano, strings, brass and folk of musical instruments.

Today, the school has music departments that include piano, string, brass, guitar, percussion, classical vocal, pop vocal, national instruments, composition, and dance.
