Rehan Restaurant

We had a very disappointing dinner at Rehan on July 22. I made a reservation a few hours ahead for a small party of 4 and requested outdoor patio seating. Upon arrival, we were told that an outdoor table was not available and the hostess downright lied and said no one had specified an outdoor table upon making the reservation. We ended up seating inside with the windows open towards the patio. From there, things got worse with literally no service. Order was taken after a long wait and then the waiter disappeared. We were served some other table’s dishes, and when we sent those back, we ended up waiting too long for everything. Drinks even came in late, and the gap between appetizers and main course was in the 45 minute range, as unbelievable as it sounds. The waiter who ended up adopting our table was unapologetic and pretty stressed out and the whole experience was very poor and below expectations. We also had a close by table order a hookah and the customer using that contraption was blowing smoke inside the main hall and no one even said a word to him. The food was good although not as stellar as we remembered. Overall, we would not recommend Rehan, whether to a tourist or a local. Very disappointed with restaurant’s management too for not even trying to take care of us or at least inquire about how they can make up for all the shortcomings.
